One also could venture to make a total of 60 cupcakes for the birthday party, or to top each individual cupcake with icing flourishes that read ‘60’ or ‘sixty.’ Or the host could use these same flourishes to spell out the phrase, “Happy 60th Birthday, (insert name here)” across an entire batch of cupcakes.
