70s Jello party treats such as, "Jello Smiley Faces," and "Jello Twister boards," are the perfect party snacks for a 70s Theme Party. The 70’s were a time of dancing and disco parties, but also a time to kick back and relax. Most of the 70s party time will be consumed with dancing and listening to party music. Therefore, the food for this 70s party needs to be simple, yet refreshing. Jello, which is made from Gelatin, is the perfect party snack and can be combined with fruits, candy treats and Jello modes to make a perfect party snack.

Using a saucepan and 1 three ounce package of gelatin(Jello) mixture. Pour the gelatin into the saucepan and add one cup of hot water. Cooking over medium heat, bring this mixture to a boil and stir constantly (to avoid sticking) until dissolved. At this point, a variety of fruit or candies can be mixed into the jello mixture. Once this has been done, pour the liquid mixture into a round Jello mode (Happy Face, Peace sign, etc…) or a square Jello mode to create a Twister board or football field. Once the round Jello mode has cooled the Jello can be decorated on the top to look like a, “70s Smiley Face,” “Peace Sign,” “Twister board,” or “Football field.” As one can see, the options for this dessert and a 70s party are endless.

In addition to Jello, your 70s party guests may enjoy other 70s treats such as homemade pizza, potato chips and French onion dip. These items, along with other 70s favorites will bring back a lot of memories while the guests dance the night away.
