One of the most popular cartoon characters of the 90’s era would have to be the Power Puff Girls. These 90’s style cupcakes will surely be a hit. These may be more advanced for the more beginner cupcake decorator but, it can be done. Begin by frosting the bottom half of the cupcakes in a light pink color to represent the color of skin. Next, frost the top half of the cupcake with the color of hair that represents each of the powder puff girls. For example, one cupcake would have orange hair; the next would have yellow and so on. Now it is time to start the face. Take a piping bag and make a small half circle that ends at the edge of the cupcake to represent the eyes. Pipe a small amount of white along the edge of the circle to represent the outer part of the eye. Then fill the rest of the circle in with the desired eye color. The finished result will make any child of the 90’s era go ecstatic as it brings back many childhood memories of Saturdays planted in front of the TV.
