Most often alien cookies are easy to make and easier to decorate. The following ingredients are needed for your cookie recipe: 3 cups of all purpose flour, 2 eggs, 1 ½ cups of sugar, 1 cup softened margarine or butter, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla, green food coloring and 1 teaspoon baking powder. Preheat your oven to 375° for twenty minutes before baking. Then combine your dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl and set aside. Then mix and stir the eggs, sugar, vanilla and butter together. After this has been mixed, add the dry ingredients and mix for approximately 2 minutes or until the batter is completely mixed. Next, add two drops of green food coloring to the batter (if you want darker cookies add more). Then, on a clean countertop or on wax paper (sprinkle the wax paper with flour) roll the cookie mixture flat. Then, using an alien shaped cookie cutter, cut out the cookies. Place the cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake your alien cookies for 8 to 10 minutes. After the cookies have finished baking, let them cool and then decorate with colorful icing, raisins and decorative candies. These cookies will be a perfect snack for your Alien Party.
