Place the patties on a rack in the broiling pan. Broil the patties for about five minutes on each side, depending on the doneness desired. Just before the patties are finished cooking, cut the mozzarella cheese into four slices. Top each patty with a slice of cheese, a broil one minute longer until the cheese is melted. Place one patty on the bottom of the English muffin and put the top half on top.
