Egg and sausage casserole is very simple to make by following this recipe.
1 Pound of pork sausage
6 Eggs
2 Cups of milk
1 Teaspoon of salt
1 Teaspoon of ground mustard
6 Slices of white bread cut into 1 inch cubes
1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
Crumble the sausage in a skillet, and cook over medium heat until browned. Mix the eggs, milk, salt, and mustard in a large bowl. Add the sausage and bread cubes. Mix until well blended. Pour into a greased 11x7 casserole dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes, or until a knife can be inserted in the middle and comes out clean.
