A casino theme party is a great way for guests to have fun without worrying about losing their money (fake money is recommended for a children’s casino party). Centerpieces for a casino theme party can easily be made from casino theme items such as playing chips, cards, dice etc. One casino theme handmade centerpiece can be made by placing playing cards, cut outs of diamonds, hearts, clubs and spades, and fake money on craft sticks in craft foam. Red, silver, black, and white Mylar paper place on the craft foam will give the centerpiece a shine and shimmer. Add feathers, boas and other softer items to the centerpiece as well.
Another easy-made homemade centerpiece for a casino theme party is creating dice from cardboard boxes. Use white box or place sheets of white paper over the cardboard boxes with black felt for circles. Stack multiple cardboard boxes (dice) on top of each other one smaller than the other to form a pyramid. Place the dice on green felt with poker chips, fake money, playing cards on and around the dice. Add even more flare to the centerpiece by spelling out the name of the celebrant using craft sticks. use long crafts sticks and cut out pieces of craft foam. Tape one craft stick to each letter and tape to the back of the dice in a curved pattern.
