Dance parties are a great time for friends and family to get together to show off their moves, cut a rug and have a great time. Other than great music, great atmosphere and great people, a dance party can also be defined by its great food.
At a
Dance Theme Party, it's best to serve light food that will give your guests much needed energy to dance the night away. Try this yummy recipe for cinnamon french toast for your next dance party. All you need is four large beaten eggs, one cup of milk, four teaspoons vanilla extract, one teaspoon of cinnamon, and twelve slices of bread.
To prepare the french toast, beat the egg, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together in a large bowl. Once well combined, dip one slice of bread in at a time, turning the bread over so it can absorb the egg mixture. Remove the bread slices one at a time to a plate. Coat a large skillet with butter or cooking spray and heat on medium heat. Cook the slices for about three minutes on each side, or until golden brown on both sides.
This serves twelve people, but feel free to increase the recipe to make as much or as little as you like. Serve your french toast with syrup, raw fruit, cooked fruit, honey, plain yogurt or cream cheese. Happy dancing!
Dance Party Supplies with a Theme Party
A Dance Party for your kids could include decorations like the disco ball, Lava Lamps and Beaded Curtains (which could be used to separate the dance floor room from the eating room). Match the invitations with Dance party supplies to set the party theme. Let the fun begin by choosing music to match the taste of the guests and rock-on. A dance competition would make the perfect activity for this fun party. Make the event more exciting with a Cheerleading recipe for more awesome food. As the dancers will be hungry and thirsty from swaying to the music, be sure to have plenty of refreshments and food on hand Kids love chips and dips, pizza, and hamburgers and hot dogs. Juices and water make healthy beverages but the kids will also want soda pops and desserts like cake and cookies. Cup cakes are fun and can be topped with candy sprinkles.
