Allow the cupcakes to cool then prepare to decorate.
One of the best ways to create these golden oldie cupcakes is to create records on top of each cupcake. You can achieve this by using black frosting to frost each of the cupcakes. Take a toothpick and make lines in circles around the cupcake to represent the lines of the record for each new song. Make a smooth flat circle in the middle of the cupcake to represent the middle of the record. Finally take a piping bag with white frosting and let the mind go to work and put names of different artists on each cupcake.
