Ideas for
Hanukkah Centerpieces
Celebrate Hanukah the appropriate way with homemade Hanukkah centerpieces. Low bowls filled with water topped with blue or white floating candles is a simple, but very elegant centerpiece. Add flower peddles to the water with the floating candles too.
One of the simplest yet most festive Hanukkah centerpieces include a florist foam Star of David centerpiece. Print out a large Star of David and place it over a large piece of florist foam, or of a large piece cannot be found, cut out six triangles and one hexagon. Glue the triangles to the hexagon. Once the Star of David is formed glue faux blue and white flowers to the florist foam.
There are edible Hanukkah homemade centerpieces that can easily be made as well. Make nine cupcakes, topped with blue frosting, and create an edible menorah for the kids. Place the cupcakes in a line like a menorah. To represent candles, place thin chocolate bars in the top of the cupcakes. for the flame, use small yellow candies on top of the chocolate bars. Place the cupcake and cutouts of Star of David or other Jewish symbols. Ensure the middle cupcake is higher than the rest of the cupcakes. place the middle cupcake on a small paper cup covered in blue, white, or yellow paper.
Additional homemade Hanukkah centerpieces include menorahs made from small cups and glasses filled with beads. Place the candles inside the beaded filled cups and a unique menorah is made.
