Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe

To make a great sweet potato casserole, use the following recipe.
4 Large cans of yams (canned sweet potatoes)
2 Tablespoons of butter
¾ Cup of packed brown sugar
1 Bag of miniature marshmallows
2 Cups chopped pecans (optional)
Bring the yams to a boil and continue to boil for about 15 minutes. Drain the yams. Combine the heated yams, butter, brown sugar, and 2 cups of marshmallows in a large bowl. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth and all of the marshmallows have melted. Stir in the chopped pecans if desired. Spread in a 9x13 casserole dish. Sprinkle 1- 1 ½ cups of marshmallows on the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
