Red, White, and Blueberry Pie Recipe
Memorial Day is the time to honor all of the American soldiers who have died in war. These soldiers gave their lives for our country, and that makes Memorial Day a patriotic holiday. Throwing a Memorial Day Theme Party celebrates all of those fallen heroes. For a great tasting patriotic dessert, serve red, white, and blueberry pie.

Red, white, and blueberry pie is easy to make using the following recipe, and is visually appealing.
4 ounces white baking chocolate, chopped
8 whole fresh strawberries, halved lengthwise
4 strawberries, sliced in thin circles
1 reduced-fat graham cracker crust (8 inches)
3/4 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 package (8 ounces) reduced-fat cream cheese, cubed
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
3/4 cup cold fat-free milk
1 package (3.3 ounces) instant white chocolate pudding mix
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup reduced-fat whipped topping
In the microwave, melt the white baking chocolate. Stir every 30 seconds until completely melted. Dip the strawberries half way in the melted chocolate, and let the excess chocolate drip off. Lay the strawberries with the cut side down on wax paper. Refrigerate for 15 minutes until set. Spread the remaining melted chocolate along the bottom and sides of the graham cracker crust. Arrange the sliced strawberry circles in the crust. Use a mixer to beat the cream cheese and confectioner’s sugar until smooth. Gradually add the milk and mix until well combined. Add the pudding and mix for 2 minutes or until thickened. Pour the pudding over the sliced strawberries. Pile the blueberries in the middle of the pie. Arrange the chocolate dipped strawberries around the edge with the point facing outwards. Pipe the whip cream between the strawberries and blueberries.
