An Olympics style birthday party with homemade decorations such as centerpieces, banners, and party favors is a great way to spend a birthday. Young fans of the Olympic Games can celebrate their love of the Olympics with easy handmade centerpieces anyone can make. Use simple arts & crafts materials such as paper cups, craft foam, floral beads, candy gold coins etc. One simple Olympics centerpiece is to take a large clear glass bowl and place gold chocolate coins inside. Tape mini national flags from various countries around the bowl and a simple Olympic centerpiece is made. There are many other ways to make Olympics centerpieces that require little time and effort such as using craft form to make the Olympic rings.
