Ideas for
Passover Centerpieces
Dress up the Passover table with homemade centerpieces fit for this wonderful occasion. Arrange Passover flower centerpieces in an elegant vase or bowl. Purple tulips, ranunculus, freesia, artichokes trachelliums, and flowering branches make for excellent Passover flower bouquets. Long stemmed white roses in a modern clear glass cylindrical vase is also a wonderful Passover centerpiece. Yellow tulips in a long vase are perfect Passover centerpieces.
Children should always feel included in the holidays so creating homemade Passover centerpieces should also be on the agenda. Homemade Elijah or Miriam Cups can be painted and decorated by children. Allow children to show off their artistic talents by painting and applying beans and paper to their very own cups.
Cardboard tube Moses is a cute and fun Passover centerpiece for children to make as well. this project is very simple and only requires a few arts & crafts materials. Paint the top portion of the cardboard role peach for the face. Then, draw eyes and eyebrows. Place a brown piece of felt around the cardboard tube. For the hair and beard use white yarn. Glue the yard to the top of the tube and around the mouth. To create some roundness to the top of the head, place cotton balls inside and glue before the hair applied. On both sides of the brown felt use pink pom-poms for hands. Cut out a piece of grey construction paper and glue it to one of Mosses’ hands. To make Moses even larger use a coffee can or larger container instead of a cardboard tube.
