Pirate Centerpieces
Anyone can join in the great adventure of sailing the seas with a homemade pirate centerpiece. It does not matter whether the event is being planned or adult or child it will truly set the mood for any pirate themed party. One will have the choice of making the same centerpiece for each of the tables or, make each centerpiece a different centerpiece activity.
One of greatest homemade centerpiece would be the treasure chest. This unique centerpiece can be created by simply cutting the top off of a large rectangular box and painting both pieces brown. Allow the pieces to dry over night before continuing. Next, take a strip of glue and outline the edges of the box and then take gold glitter and sprinkle it onto the glue. This will be the embellishment of the chest. Inside the box you can take gold foiled chocolates and place them inside. This will be the pirate booty that will complete your treasure chest.
Another great handmade pirate centerpiece would to make several simple treasure maps placed into bottles. To begin take the cover from several water bottles and clean, empty, and allow the bottle to dry. Meanwhile take the time to create several mini treasure maps and dip them into a tea stain. This tea stain is made by allowing a tea bag to steep in warm water for several minutes. Allow them to dry and then simply roll and place them in the bottles.
Creating a handmade pirate centerpiece does not have to be difficult instead, it just takes a little bit of imagination and, a pirates heart.
