Poker Centerpieces
Edible poker centerpieces are great idea for a poker party because who says centerpieces just have to look good. Edible centerpieces can include making cookies in hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs shapes. Decorate the cookies with cookie icing and wrap in cellophane, place in on a serving tray or bowl. Use a decorate box with a diamond pattern to place the cookies in on top of black, white, and red tissue paper. Those who have some skill in baking may want to consider making a poker theme cake as the poker party centerpiece. Replicate poker chips, playing cards, or hearts, diamonds, spades and club shapes. An easy poker cake centerpiece can be made by baking a multi layered round cake. Place red or black fondant diamond patterns on the side to create a stack of poker playing chips. Add small hearts, spades etc. to the cake along with poker chips (non-edible) and playing cards around the cake.
To make a poker centerpiece for a poker party use plush dice, playing cards, casino chips, Mylar paper. Fan out playing cards and hot glue gun tem together. Once the playing glue a craft stick to the back of the cards. Insert the craft sticks in a Styrofoam block decorated with Mylar paper. Place the plush dice on the tray with the casino chips (which can also be glued together or just stacked). Decorate the serving bowl with bows, ribbons, and curling ribbon as well.
