When planning a princess party for a little girl, a homemade princess centerpiece will finish the overall décor with pizazz. It is a great way to tie in the overall princess décor of the room as well. However, be sure that the design is elaborate in an effort to bring both the romance and glamor together that is associated with being a princess.
What princess is not complete without a carriage handmade centerpiece? A great one to create would be the pumpkin carriage ridden by Cinderella, who was a princess in disguise. This is a simple one to create and can begin by picking a round pumpkin. Once the pumpkin has been chosen take and draw a large rectangle for the door and two squares to represent the windows. Next, take gold paint and paint the inside of these squares. Then, take black paint and paint the remainder of the pumpkin.
Once the paint has dried on your homemade centerpiece take a book and elevate the pumpkin. Take skewers and stick them into the bottom of the pumpkin, turned onto its side, and then, stick the other into the front of the pumpkin this will represent the wheel. Repeat this step for the other 3 wheels and then carefully place in the center of the table. The ends of the skewers are to represent the wheels.
