Mixed Berry Tart Recipe
Prom is one of the most important events in a high school student’s life. They can’t wait to dress up in a lovely evening gown or a tux. The limos and the dancing keep the student’s out until late. Many students don’t have much money after the clothes, flowers, limo, and tickets. The students want to go to a five star restaurant, but can’t afford it. There is a way to allow the students to still experience a lovely restaurant in their own home. For decorating ideas check out Prom Theme Party. The food should represent items that are found on a menu. A mixed berry tart is a great dessert to serve. It is a beautiful dessert, and can be made without the five star prices.

Use the following recipe to make a mixed berry tart.
12 Graham crackers crushed
¾ Stick of melted butter
3 Tablespoons of brown sugar
2 packages of cook and serve vanilla pudding
Milk according to the back of the pudding packages
1 Pint of fresh strawberries, washed and sliced
½ Pint of fresh blueberries, washed
½ Pint of fresh blackberries, washed
Mix the graham crackers, butter, and sugar together in a medium bowl until well blended. Press the mixture in a tart dish and bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Prepare the pudding according to the package instructions. Use a spatula to spread the pudding evenly in the crust. Chill for about an hour. Spread the fruit over the top of the chilled pudding and refrigerate for about 30 minutes before serving.

This mixed berry tart will make any high school student feel like they are in a five star restaurant on their prom night. It is sure to be the hit of the whole meal.
