Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) Party Supplies with a Theme Party
Rosh Hashanah is the perfect time to plan a party where family and friends can come together and celebrate the Jewish New Year. Set the party venue with Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) party supplies for a cool atmosphere themed. Send out beautiful invitations with Jewish Symbols on them like the Shofar (horn). Rosh Hashanah decorations could center on the holiday buffet table which will have several round challahs (round to symbolize a wish that the coming year will roll around peacefully without unhappiness). Add extra menu ideas like a New Years Eve Recipe for more delicious food. There is honey for dipping and apple butter for spreading on the challah. There is a round honey cake and a large bowl of honeydew melon. There may be a large pan of noodle kugel, made with cinnamon and apples. Your menu could also include some of the following: lemon roasted chicken, fish fillets with leeks, or lamb. Fruit is an important part of this celebration. You will find dates, oranges, grilled apples, pineapples, figs, and melons being a part of many dishes and also eaten alone. Rosh Hashanah desserts are pies, tarts, cakes and pastries. Some of these are served with nuts, cinnamon and dried fruit. When everyone is done eating, you can play a party game. It's called "Blow the Shofar". Whoever blows it the longest is the winner?
