Sixties Centerpieces
The sixties were all about making love, not war and the peace sign, so your handmade sixties centerpiece will need to reflect these ideas. Try making a large peace sign out of cardboard. Make it large enough so that it will stand out as the focal point of the table. Then dress it in red, white and blue. You can use fabric, ribbon, or paint to do this. Place it on top of a white dome shaped piece of foam. Into the foam will be placed various symbols of the era.
Your homemade sixties centerpiece will depict such images as Jimmie Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Elvis, and the Beatles.
