Whether they are traditional sized cupcakes or mini cupcakes, most of the guests at the slumber party will enjoy this exquisite snack, created especially for a Slumber party.
Creating mini cherry chiffon cupcakes for a Slumber party is much easier than it sounds. Most often these can be made a variety of ways. First of all, preheat the oven to 325° for approximately twenty minutes prior to baking. During this time, use designer cupcake liners (Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana) and line the mini cupcake baking pans. If these are not available any colorful mini cupcake liners will be ideal. Then combine 2 cups of flour, 3 teaspoons of baking powder and 2 sprinkles of salt in a mixing bowl and mix for about five minutes with an electric mixer. Then add 6 egg yolks, 1/3 cup of cooking oil and 1 cup of cherry juice and beat until smooth. At this point, use another bowl and combine 6 egg whites, ½ cup cherries, 1 teaspoon vanilla and ½ teaspoon cream of tartar and mix thoroughly until smooth. Then combine the two bowls along with the six egg whites and mix thoroughly. Finally, spoon the batter into the mini cupcake liners and bake for approximately fifteen minutes (checking after twelve minutes). After the cupcakes have cooled, decorate them with the soft white icing and add three cherries to the top of each one. These dainty little delicacies will add a great deal to the slumber party.
