Ideas for Soccer Centerpieces

Celebrate the world’s game, soccer, by throwing a soccer theme party with homemade centerpieces, party supplies, and party favors. Soccer is one of the most popular youth games that keep children active, healthy and help boost confidence and self esteem. For a little soccer fan and player, why not give them an opportunity to celebrate the game they love. Soccer centerpieces do not have to be lavish centerpieces done by professionals but simple centerpieces done with few materials. One soccer centerpiece that will garner compliments is taking a deflated soccer and fill with dirt and flowers – a soccer planter. Cut the top of the soccer ball out, place dirt, and desired flowers inside. Use colored flowers to represent the celebrants club (if he or she is on a soccer club) inside the soccer ball. The flowers do not have to be real so choosing faux flowers is just as acceptable. Place the soccer on Easter grass in the center of the party table.

Homemade soccer cookies on a serving platter also make a wonderful centerpiece. Decorate with cookie icing to make the soccer pattern on the cookies and place on a serving platter. Use mini soccer balls around the serving platter by taping them around the top. On the top tiered place a larger soccer ball with smaller mini soccer balls around the larger soccer ball.
