For many people out there, the term ‘Survivor’ and ‘Survivor Cupcakes’ might be new to get acquainted to. Well, Survivor is a reality show, rather a competition show whereby the players are left stranded on a remote island, who competes with each other in terms of getting food, fishing gear, cooking supplies and luxury items. Survivor Cupcakes have undoubtedly remained a favorite amongst all party poppers out there. Survivor-themed parties can be organized with a mixture of Survivor cupcakes and different games representing the reality show. Party supplies can be at any local party supply store. Such parties would come out the best, if organized outside, such that one can make use of tiki torches and party lights outdoors. The entire party area can be decorated with coconuts, immunity idols, wooden bowls, big fishnets with fishes made of plastic stuck in them, plastic animals, fishing poles, large survivor team flags and hammocks.
Coming back to the Survivor Cupcakes, the cupcakes should ideally symbolize the outdoor scenery. To give it a representing look of the theme, make cupcakes in the shapes of coconuts, fishes, hammocks and palm trees. They can be then frosted with different food coloring according to their types. For instance, for palm trees a person can make use of dark green icing to frost the cupcakes, for fishes, use blue frosting, for coconuts, and use white and brown frosting and so on.
Besides this, if a person has enough time and are creative when it comes to making Survivor cupcakes, they can also make ‘ants on a log’ by filling in celery sticks with peanut butter and stick raisins on them. Create ‘pineapple boats’ by cutting a pineapple in half vertically and filling them with fruits like pineapple chunks, cherries, coconut chunks and cherries. Have Survivor logos printed on them, cut them out and stick onto the Survivor Cupcakes for your party.
