1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 of a medium avocado
2 tablespoons coarsely shredded carrot
16 small fresh basil leaves
Trim off the ends of the zucchini and cut it lengthwise into long thing ribbons. Discard the first and last ribbon with the most skin on them, and the really seedy ribbons. Clean the crabmeat and mix with the mayonnaise, wasabi paste, and salt in a medium bowl. Peel and seed out the avocado. Cut the avocado into thin ribbons. Lay 2 zucchini ribbons on top of one another. Put a small amount of crabmeat on the end of the zucchini ribbons. Top with an avocado strip, some carrots, and a basil leaf. Roll the zucchini strips and secure with a toothpick. This recipe makes 16 roll-ups.
