There is such a wide variety of different teas in the world that you will not have any trouble putting together homemade tea centerpieces. These would be great for a casual get-together, and also as gifts for every occasion.
To make your handmade tea centerpiece stand out, you will also need some raffia, lace, or other unique filler to place in between the boxes or bags of tea. This will create an illusion that they are dancing on the arrangement, instead of just a line of boxes of tea in a row. Give some thought to the teas you choose to display. Some teas are tart, some are sweet. Some teas give you energy, or they are good for weight loss, whereas others are for resting and a good night’s sleep.
A very large teapot would be a cute idea as the base of your handmade tea centerpiece, but generally they do not have a wide opening at the top. A tea cozy that is also handmade might work just fine. If you make it, the opening can be as wide as you like. Also, pay attention to the colors of the boxes, bags, or jars of tea that you are including. Either use a vast variety of colors, or stay with one main color of various hues. For instance, if the tea that is your center of attention is in a green box, let the others that surround it also be in various shades of green, and perhaps yellow.
