A picture of Tweety can probably be found in many places, so when preparing the birthday cake, it would be fun and memorable for the kids if the cake was decorated as Tweety. Just find a simple picture of the famous character that can be enlarged in size with a copy machine. Enlarge it as much as needed, about the size of the top of the birthday cake. When the cake is done, just place the picture on top and use it as a stencil, as the figure of Tweety is cut out with a knife. Then frost it with yellow, and add the eyes and beak in appropriate colors. The kids will love it.

Other Tweety items can be placed around, and even a tablecloth with Tweety on it might be available. Or stickers can be placed on a plain, yellow tablecloth. And other characters, like Sylvester, can also be added to the fun.

Since Tweety is a bird, the diet is mostly seeds, nuts and fruits. So supply the young guests with an edible fruit basket. You can use a melon baller to scoop out certain fruits, and use other whole fruits, like grapes and cherries. Place them on skewers and push the skewers into a head of lettuce or a flower mold in the bottom of a basket, and a very nice fruit arrangement can be created.
