Valentines French Toast Recipe

Valentines French Toast is very easy using the following recipe.
2 eggs
½ cup of milk
3 Tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
6 slices of thick sliced French bread
Powder sugar
Butter
Syrup
Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add the milk, flour, salt, and vanilla extract to the eggs. Beat with an electric mixer until the flour is well combined. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once the skillet is hot add 1 teaspoon of butter to the pan. Dip the bread into the mixture, and make sure that each side is coated well. Let the excess batter drip off of the bread. Place as many slices as you can into the hot skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown. Add another tablespoon of butter to the hot skillet and repeat with the remaining slices of bread. Butter the top of the French toast. Sprinkle powder sugar over each piece, and top with syrup.
To make this breakfast really special, you could add a card or a rose on the serving platter. Your special someone is sure to love this Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed.
