Woodstock Centerpieces
A great homemade Woodstock centerpiece might start with a banner that reads “Woodstock,” or “Summer of Love.” This banner can be draped across what looks like a crowd of thousands of people in the clearing of a wooded area, looking in anticipation a stage. The stage is the backdrop of your centerpiece and clearly the scene of Woodstock. If you have timed lights, or strobe lights that can be placed behind the stage where others cannot see, this should add to the wild anticipation of the show.
Your handmade Woodstock centerpiece should include tie-dyed or psychedelic designs on either the stage curtains or all around the base of your centerpiece. Add peace signs, paint simple flowers all around, and you should capture the essence that is Woodstock. Your audience can be made of individual figurines in cardboard, or a few layers of groups of people in front of the stage. Features of the people’s faces can be blurred, as these do not need to be accurate and perfect. Make it look like everyone is wearing a different shade of blue jeans, they wear sandals or no shoes, and most have tie-dyed t-shirts on.
